Supported browsers

Please ensure that you are accessing this site at http://www.pupillage.com/ or http://www.pupillages.com/ rather than http://www.olpas.co.uk.

In order to register or log in to this system, you must have both JavaScript and Cookies enabled, and be using a modern browser. This site has been tested with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and higher, and Mozilla Firefox 2. The site may function in other browsers, but we cannot support them, and recommend that you use one of the browsers that we have tested with the system.

Please note that AOL browsers are not supported.

The rest of this page explains how to enable JavaScript and Cookies in the browsers we support. These instructions are for Windows PCs; there may be slight differences on other platforms. Whenever you make a change to your browser settings, you may need to restart your browser to ensure that the new settings are being used.

Activating JavaScript

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and 6 Click on the 'Tools' menu, select 'Internet Options', then click on the 'Security' tab. Select the 'Internet' zone at the top of the tab, then click on the 'Custom Level...' button. Scroll down to the 'Scripting' options, and select 'Enable' for 'Active scripting'. Click 'OK', then 'OK' again.

Activating Cookies

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 Click on the 'Tools' menu, select 'Internet Options', then click on the 'Security' tab. Select the 'Internet' zone at the top of the tab, then click on the 'Custom Level...' button. Scroll down to the 'Cookies' options, and select 'Enable' for 'Allow cookies that are stored on your computer' and 'Enable' for 'Allow per-session cookies (not stored)'. Click 'OK', then 'OK' again.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 Click on the 'Tools' menu, select 'Internet Options', then click on the 'Privacy' tab. Make sure that the slider in the 'Settings' section is not set to 'Block All Cookies' or 'High'. Click 'OK'.

Accessing through Company Networks / University Networks

If you are accessing the website through a network of any sort then there may be network wide settings in place (firewalls etc) that affect the handling of cookies and will prevent you from logging on. If this is the case please try accessing the website from a different machine with a different internet connection and seeing if the problem is resolved.
